Eight HD TVs. A full bar. Chicago pizza fifty years in the making. If there's a Bears, Cubs, Sox, Bulls or Hawks game on, it's on here — on Golf Road in Niles, a few minutes from Park Ridge, Des Plaines and Morton Grove.

You don't come to a sports bar for the TVs alone — you come because the place feels right. Old City has been the neighborhood's spot for fifty years, back when it was Nancy's Pizzeria on Golf. Same building, same pizza ovens, same regulars. What's new: a full bar, eight HD TVs angled so every booth has a view, smash burgers that people drive in from Skokie for, and a late-night kitchen that stays open long after most places in Niles call it.
It's not a chain. It's the place where you show up in your Bears jersey, grab a booth with your group, and still get a plate of Chicago stuffed pizza that actually tastes like Chicago stuffed pizza.
Whether it's Sunday Bears at noon, Cubs on a Tuesday evening, or Hawks in the middle of January — you'll find the game on a TV you can see from your seat. Sound on for the big moments. Every major Chicago game, every week, all season long.
Playoff games, Bears primetime, UFC fight nights — those are the nights it fills up fast. Reserve a table ahead if you're rolling in with a group, and we'll save you a spot.
A deep bar list — domestics, drafts, imports, seltzers, and a full wine program. Cold, cheap where it should be, and poured right.
Sports bar food shouldn't taste like sports bar food. Ours doesn't. The pizza menu is the same one Chicagoans have driven out of their way for since 1974 — Chicago stuffed, thin tavern-cut, all scratch dough and fresh mozzarella. The smash burgers are the sleeper hit — hand-pressed on the flat-top, crispy edges, smash sauce on a brioche bun. And the wings show up crisp, not soggy, with garlic parm as the move.
Ordering a big pie for the group and grabbing a round of drafts? That's the right game-day call.
Licensed Illinois video gaming terminals — right in the bar, no separate room, no weird energy. Kill ten minutes between innings or turn a slow Tuesday into a good story. Must be 21+ to play.
